Forest Fun

Landmark #1 (Explore Outdoors Together)

Despite the heat, we enjoyed our trip to the forest today. A helped B and H continue their fort-today they expanded their building into various gates and doors. I loved how their imaginative play ran wild as they explored the properties and capabilities of the natural building materials they found.

BabblingKids – July 23/20

High-five to @babblingbrookedaycare for their Landmark submission today! Great job! You took top spot on the group leaderboard #pathwayexplorers 🎉 Submit your photo at pathwayproject.ca for a chance to top the leaderboard an win the monthly prize! Here is what these fine explorers had to say about their day: “Despite the heat, we enjoyed our trip to the forest today. A helped B and H continue their fort-today they expanded their building into various gates and doors. I loved how their imaginative play ran wild as they explored the properties and capabilities of the natural building materials they found. Their processes were well thought out and full of problem solving. How peaceful it was to watch H and B pretend to sleep in their secure fort. A followed suit and enjoyed the view of the tree tops from the mossy, soft forest floor. The girls were so content and I was a bit surprised at how long they spent sleeping...I think they were enjoying themselves in the cool breeze, listening to the bird songs. I love watching G and A (our youngest!) join in the building, moving logs and small sticks. They are so capable, competent and full of determination. How amazing it is to watch all the possibilities these friends see in their world!” #peterborough #peterboroughontario #peterboroughpolice #healthykids #healthyplanet #pathwayexplorer #kids #campkawarthaenvironmentacentre #sparkphotofestival #wildphotowalk #nature #outdoors #trails #kawartha #ontario #photgraphy #canada
