Landmark 17 (Three New Outdoor Skills)

Develop a new outdoor skill – we used flow charts and diagrams to identify wild plants and trees in our schoolyard and in the forest at the back of our school grounds. Grade 6’s worked with a partner to identify, sketch and describe different plant species and what made them “stand out” from others. We then talked about deciduous and coniferous trees and examined the main differences. It was so much fun!
