Pumpkins and Tee

Landmark #3 (Exercise Senses Daily)

Compass ELC’s Timbernook-Peterborough program has been gathering with their Tiny Ones program in Jackson Park. Today, they were explored the sensory activity of hammering golf tees into pumpkins. The children challenged their upper body and fine motor strength & coordination skills as they worked to lift the hammer and hit the golf tees. They also used their olfactory (small), gustatory (taste), tactile (touch), and proprioceptive senses as they explored the pumpkins in different ways!
