Hungry Birds

Landmark 15 (Garden, birdfeeder, insects etc)

We thought that our bird friends might be a little hungry this time of year, so we made some DIY bird feeders! We used toilet paper rolls, string, honey and bird seed. The class wanted to give you the directions on how to make your own: First, you need to cut two holes into your toilet paper roll and put the string through to make a loop so that you can hang it from the tree. Next, spread honey onto the entire outside of the toilet paper roll. Then, roll it around on a plate covered in bird seed. At the end, go hang it up on the tree for the birds!
