Walking with friends

Landmark 1 (Explore Together Weekly)

Every Wednesday morning, our class goes on a community walk for a very specific and special reason. One of the boys in our class is blind, and so he has a special type of teacher who comes and shows him how to properly use his cane when in different walking situations within the community. Today we decided to choose a new route that had a lot of straight intersections so our classmate could practice walking straight across the road on the sidewalk. We finished our walk with a familiar route on the bike path behind our school. It was a cold day, but the sun was shining and it was beautiful!
