The Four Seasons

Landmark 7 (Books, Songs, Games Weekly (2 pts/month)

During our first visit with our special guest, Melody Crowe, we learned about how the cycle of the four seasons are represented on her special stone by four colours: yellow for spring, red for summer, black for fall, and white for winter. During Melody’s second visit, she read the book, Whoever You Are by Mem Fox and shared how the four colours (yellow, red, black, and white) can also represent all people of the earth. We have so much in common with each other and we each also have our own unique gifts. Many students were inspired to draw their own stones.
