Landmark 6 (Play in Nature a Full Hour)

While playing in the backyard today, we found a gourd we grew in the fall. One child stepped on it and it broke, what amazing things we found inside! There was a sponge-like layer and then seeds! The children talked about planting the seeds, eating the seeds, and using them for play. They decided to use the seeds to decorate our snowman.
