Skating on Open Ice

Landmark 3 (Exercise Senses Daily)

With the recent cold snap, Rogers Cove turned into a giant outdoor rink. We went skating on the open ice, feeling the effects of the wind (skating into the wind vs. skating with the wind behind our backs) and listening to the deep sounds of the ice. The older one went skating all along the shoreline and back. It was so much fun that we went back the next day!
