Migrating Birds

Landmark 12 (Nearby Plants and Animals)

Our class has been very interested in birds, especially those that are migrating back to the area. Today we talked about why Canada Geese fly in a ‘V’ formation and then trying it ourselves across the schoolyard (with lots of honking)! We discovered it is harder than it looks to stay together!
