Winning Seasons

Landmark 11 (Celebrate each Season)

Our class has been eagerly looking for signs of spring over the past few weeks. After talking with naturalist, Kim Dobson, she suggested our class hold a ‘battle of the season’ game to decide which season was currently winning. As a class, we brainstormed a list of signs of winter and signs of spring. Armed with our lists, clipboards and pencils, we headed out on our weekly nature walk and students checked off each sign that they observed. When we tallied up the checkmarks we decided that spring was winning!
