Mysterious Birds

Landmark 12 (Nearby Plants and Animals)

With so many birds now back for the spring, have been bringing our binoculars on all of our hikes. For the past few weeks, every time we go on a particular walk down to the river, we have noticed a pair of beautiful birds always swimming together in the same area. On this day we had our binoculars and also brought a bird book with us to help identify them. After much observation, we believe they are buffleheads.
