Pondering Nature

Landmark 12 (Nearby Plants and Animals)

The Otonabee Region Conservation Authority prepared an online scavenger hunt. Students were introduced to watersheds in the Millbrook area and learned about the unique features of the pond and Baxter creek. These freshwater sources need to be protected because drinking water is a very small portion of water available on earth. Students learned about animals, fish, and insects that can be found in these watersheds.
