Landmark 1 (Explore Together Weekly)

This week the students have been learning about pond life. We had an outdoor virtual visit by Camp Kawartha and discovered many wonderful creatures that lived in the local ponds. Students were able to see first-hand tadpoles, egg mass, and newts during our virtual visit. They were able to ask questions about the local ecosystem and learn fun facts about the local habitat through our virtual visit. Students were then encouraged to go out and explore the local ponds with a grown-up to see what they could discover.
