Eggtraordinary

Landmark 7 (Books, Songs, Games Weekly)

The Kindergartens have been sharing stories about what they have seen and know about creatures that come from eggs. Through photos and videos, we’ve watched a robin make a nest on a student’s window sill. We saw four blue eggs! And this week we saw how big the baby birds have grown! They are too big for their nest now. Another student shared his book about how tadpoles come from eggs and then grown into frogs. We read “An Egg is Quiet” and enjoyed the detailed illustrations of all kinds of eggs, noticing their unique colours, patterns, and shapes.
