This morning with Ms. Talapatra and Mrs. Lockett’s Kinder class, we started off singing about mosquitos and bedbugs having a game of baseball. The score was 5 to nothing and the Mosquitos were ahead but the bedbugs hit a homerun and knocked us out of bed! Shocking really. We did our best mosquito dance! The students had collected a bunch of natural items and a string and created their own mini-hike as they took us on a tour of all of the treasures they had found outside. Thankfully, Bob the Bee came for a visit and read the book, Butterfly Park by Elly Mackay and that helped to introduce other pollinator friends that are so active in the spring.
