Rainbow Walk

Landmark 3 (Exercise Senses Daily)

Wilma Armstrong’s and Carrie Ray’s class (from Millbrook South Cavan) are very familiar with learning outside! It was exciting to be with them in the first week of school as they were learning their outdoor routines. We explored the nearby nature and then went on a hike on the Station Trail near the school where we discovered so many frogs and bugs on our way. We did so many different sensory activities in the woods and along the trail. The pictures that are with this post are a part of things we found on our rainbow walk. Each child tried to find something in nature that was the same colour as all of the colours of the rainbow. Finally, we found orange and purple.
