Mentos Experiments

Landmark 7 (Books, Songs, Games Weekly)

Students have been interested in dinosaurs this week. We have been doing lots of wonderings about dinosaurs. Together at the magic tree we read the story, Bumposaurus. We talked about a meat-eater being a carnivore and a plant-eater being a herbivore. We followed up our book and discussion with a science experiment using mentos and root beer as well as mentos and coke. We wondered what would happen if we used fruit mentos versus using mint mentos.
