Each and every time we venture into different outdoor spaces the children seem to collect new perspectives and heightened awareness of our natural environment. Whether it be figuring out new methods of climbing over fallen limbs, observing the growth process of vegetation or discovering footprints in the snow – these can not simply be read about, they have to be experienced through hands-on opportunities.
