Deep, Deep Snow

Landmark 6 (Play in Nature a Full Hour)

Mme Shillinglaw’s kinder class enthusiastically put on their snowshoes in order to take on the deep deep snow at St. Catherine’s. On our way to the freshest powder, we stopped at 8 quinzee forts that the grade 8s had made. It was amazing to see inside each one of these imagining what it would be like to sleep out in winter. We continued our adventure into the woods where we learned about the silent wings of an owl. Who cooks for you? Says the barred owl.
