Animal Adaptations
Landmark 11 (Celebrate each Season)
Today we had the pleasure of having Neil and Rachel from Camp Kawartha join our class for a morning of outdoor learning. We learned about the behavioral and structural adaptations of animals through outdoor play. We built dens for “animals” to think about how animals keep warm when hibernating, played headbands and animal adaptations cross the river, and explored the adaptations visible on different animal skulls. It was a really fun and engaging morning. Thanks, Neil and Rachel!
