Virtual Zoo Friends

Landmark 15 (Garden, birdfeeder, insects etc.)

Today we had the pleasure of connecting with the Riverview Park and Zoo to meet our virtual classroom pets, the crested geckos. We met and learned about Cinnamon, Paprika and Chai, the geckos. We learned about their enclosure, their natural habitat, their diet and how to care for their needs (eg., maintaining a warm, humid environment by using a heat lamp and misting to mimic the rainforest climate.) We are so thankful to have this opportunity through the zoo!
