Hibernation Simulation!

Landmark 4 (Favourite Place Weekly)

We investigated whether or not groundhogs are able to stay warm enough to survive the winter. Our hot water jars were handed out to each group, who built a cozy hibernation home for them. After playing in the forest, we measured the temperature of each jar to see how many degrees the water cooled and whether or not our groundhogs would still be alive.
