Bird Stories

Landmark 7 (Books, Songs, Games Weekly)

We read “Have you seen birds?” by Joanne Oppenheim. The pictures are created from plasticine by Barbara Reid and are very realistic and detailed. The students recognized many of the birds. This story prompted lots and lots of conversations and students sharing their bird stories. We decided to reread the book another time so we could expand on our interesting discussion!
