Landmark 3 ( Exercise Senses Daily)
Our preschoolers eagerly head outdoors each morning with their teachers and begin their daily adventure by greeting the giant bur oak tree just outside their classroom. A black crow lands in the top branches. The children look way up hoping to spot a squirrel. Then they find the nearby squirrel tracks in the snow where they scatter nuts and seeds for their hungry friends. The next destination is Rolly Hill where they gleefully climb to the top so that they can slide down on the familiar snow-packed slides that take them down at high speeds. They enjoy the climb back up almost as much as they love the journey down. While using their senses these preschoolers connect to the environment around them and discover much joy and comradery as they play and explore together. Rowan Tree preschoolers are alive and very well!
