Boiling Sap
Landmark 5 (Garden/Care for Animal)
We began boiling the sap we collected today. We are measuring and keeping a record of how much sap we add to the boiling pot and doing some estimating about how much maple syrup we might get. At first, it seemed like nothing was happening, but then we started seeing steam and smelling a sweet smell! We have sampled the sap and can’t wait to try some syrup next week!
