Playground Garden

Landmark 5 (Garden/Care for Animal)

When wandering our playground we noticed that there was some new growth in the garden in our playground! We planted bulbs last year so we have been eagerly awaiting the appearance of any growth. The ground has been thawing and we were able to see green leaves started to emerge from the soil. We were however concerned that the squirrels would dig up our bulbs so, one of our teachers suggested we put forks in the soil to prevent them digging it up. We’ll see if our thinking works. There is lots of excitement around the signs of spring at our school!
