Exploring Spring

Landmark 12 (Nearby Plants and Animals)

We went on a hike today to enjoy the spring weather. While on the trail we came across a small pond and decided to explore. While there we saw a male mallard duck going for a swim and heard spring peepers and chorus frogs happily croaking. We tried rolling some logs in search of a salamander but didn’t find one. All in all we had a great time exploring and plan to return back soon.
