Explore Freely

Landmark 7 (Books, Songs, Games Weekly)

Earth Play for Earth Day has become a tradition at our school. Staff and volunteers collect lots of loose parts from the community in the weeks prior to Earth Day. Then on the day, every student in the school has an opportunity to enjoy freely exploring the yard and being creative with all the loose parts. During our class time out there, the children worked together to build many different structures with wood, tarps, ropes, and straw bales. Others experimented with rolling tubes and tires. No one wanted to go in! Explorers – 04/22/2022
