Landmark 12 (Nearby Plants and Animals)

Glen from Camp Kawartha took us on a squirrels life adventure! We learned about squirrel habitats and the challenges of making nests to protect them from danger and to keep them warm in the cold temperatures. We acted like squirrels and gathered appropriate materials to create nests. We were then provided with containers of warm water to see if they would stay warm in our squirrel nests … the temperature was measured before and after.
