Snakes in the Grass

Landmark 7 (Books, Songs, Games Weekly)

Students read a book under the magic tree. Afterward, the staff called out a number and the correct number of “crickets” had to be in each hula hoop. We got out the skipping ropes and played snakes in the grass. The students had to jump over the wiggly snakes without stepping on the snake.
