Life Cycles
Landmark 7 (Books, Songs, Games Weekly)
Students read a book about the life cycle of the butterfly and posed questions. We then brought some of our inside games outside! Students worked on identifying numbers based on clues such as, “I am thinking of a number that is below 2. I am thinking of a number that is beside 9.”. Students then found and pointed to the number. We also brought out the bowling set where lots of discussions and problem-solving happened as the students navigated how to set it up and take turns getting the pins down.
