Community Bird Guide
Landmark 1 (Explore Together Weekly)
We walked on a community trail with a bird guide volunteer. We stopped off and on throughout the hour when birds were noticed or heard. The naturalist took time to identify the bird visually or by sound and discuss the habitat in the area. In the days that followed students drew pictures of birds and during our outdoor time used binoculars to imitate the naturalist.
