Cool in the Shade

Landmark 1 (Explore Together Weekly)

We decided to test our theory and were happy to discover the temperature felt much cooler in the shade. We had some good estimates of 17,18, and 19 degrees. The temperature felt much hotter in the sun. Some friends estimated it felt like 25, 26, or 27 degrees. The actual temperature at the time was 25 degrees. Now the kids know to find a shady spot when they are feeling overheated.
