Environmental Footprints

Landmark 20 (Plan and Conduct a Project)

Grade 6/7 students conducted an “Upcycle Cafe”! They identified a need for indoor recess games at school and designed games by reusing materials to reduce their environmental footprints. They used old wooden trays, dowels from a broken clothes drying rack, scraps of wood, boxes, clothes pegs, leftover coffee cups, and more. They learned many valuable skills and had a ton of fun along the way. Their games are getting lots of use!
