Landmark 8 (Nature Art Weekly)

Why are we always making mud cakes? It’s such a wonderful way to use our senses, work as a team (or independently!), and work towards a goal using found materials-which takes lots of resourcefulness!
Mud cakes are math!
We measure, count, sort, pile, seperate rocks and sticks! We collect leaves and grasses of all sizes.

Mud cakes are muscles and team work!
We work together to fill and move buckets and cups, asking for help from our friends with scoops. We take turns with spoons to mix and collaborate.

Mudcakes are communication!
We share ideas and talk through turns and conflicts.

Mudcakes are projects that can continue day after day and allow us to enjoy getting messy and playing in all weather!
