Landmark 8 (Nature Art Weekly)

Recently our toddler group has been very interested in the fall leaves. After collecting a multitude of different types, colours, and levels of dryness, the toddlers begin a sensory exploration. First, we talk about the different species of leaves and their names. Then we test the crunchiness, which is the most crunchy? What colours do we see? Finally, the toddlers are tasked with ripping the leaves into little bits! After which they carefully sprinkle the dried leaves all over their tree art using glue sticks and construction paper.
