A Special Place

Landmark 9 (Special Outdoor Place 2X/Month)

We went out to explore the woods together. We found lots of places to hide while playing people-hunt and loved climbing in and around the debris from last Spring’s humungous storm/tornado. Many trees are upturned, exposing the rock, soil and roots from “down under!” and these made super small-group hiding spots. Some of us were not comfortable walking in the woods, climbing over trees, or navigating the small clinging plants. We learned to take our time and relax as we walked together through the bush and found paths and stick/branch structures made by others. It’s a special place!
