Blanket of Leaves

Landmark 5 (Garden/Care for Animals)

We have been thinking about what we can do to make our vegetable garden even better next year. Today we gathered handfuls of leaves from the courtyard and carried them over to the veggie garden. We worked hard and covered the whole thing! Now our garden has a blanket of leaves that will help the soil not blow away and give a bit of extra food to the soil too.
