Letters for Santa!
Landmark 13 (Travel a Familiar Route)
Christmas spirit has arrived and the children were interested in writing their letters to Santa, they did so well trying to spell out the words on their own and writing them out. Many children wanted to add A Merry Christmas to Santa in their letters. Once everyone completed one, we ventured out along the route that takes us to our nearby forest but we stopped midway at the mailbox instead to mail our letters to the North Pole! Reid had a theory that “a skinny man wearing a jet pack with rocket boots would mail our letters to Santa.” Other children thought elves would be mailing our letter! After mailing our letter and we were walking back to the centre, Cole spoke up and said, “oh! I just saw our letter fly by in the sky and now it’s at the North Pole!”
