Forest Activity

Landmark 1 (Explore Together Weekly)

I set up a forest and animal provocation for the children to explore. They’ve had a lot of interest since visiting the forest and enjoy creating play with animals so I thought this would be fun to set up with the forest activities book that includes crafts, activities and exploring nature. Noah came over and picked up the beaver and bounced him over to the tree and was pretending that the beaver was chewing the stump on the tree and made it fall over. He said, “oh looks like I chewed my tree down now I’ll drag it over to my dam” and he dragged the tree over to the pond area and placed it on the pond and had the beaver build the dam out of the tree and logs in the provocation.
