Animal Studies

Landmark 7 (Books, Songs, Games Weekly)

Animals are so interesting! Every few weeks, we choose to study one animal and learning about that animal makes us even more interested and have more questions. This week we have been learning about beavers, which inspired the reading of the book North Country Night by Daniel San Souci. In this book we get a glimpse of all the animals that are out and about in the night. The beaver is in the water swimming back to its lodge to stay safe. We also see an owl, a porcupine, and a deer, amongst other creatures, quietly moving through the forest.
