Melody Crowe came for a visit this morning and shared a story called Nanabosho- How the Turtle got its Shell. In the story, the turtle is helpful to the human and in return the human is kind to the turtle. Melody also shared with us about the 13 parts of a turtle’s shell and how that relates to the 13 moons in the cycle of a year.
