Landmark 11 (Celebrate Each Season)

This is how we enter the forest when it’s a bit icy … We PENGUIN SLIDE! Unfortunately, I couldn’t start it right at the beginning but were happy we caught the majority of the children entering the forest. We went down on our bums and on our bellies and we certainly do things in our own unique ways and we love everything about it and our group! We encourage the children to fully engage with nature and when you come across an obstacle to brainstorm a safer way through it by being mindful of their body and limit a potential injury so they brainstormed by sitting and sliding on their bums and stomachs it was the best way down and they had so much fun doing so! They all yelled, “Penguin slide!”
