Schoolyard Maple

Landmark 5 (Garden/Care for Animal)

Earlier this week we tapped four maple trees in our school yard. The day we drilled the holes and set in the spiles, it was bright and sunny. The tree trunks felt warm. Right after we hung the bucket on the first tree, we saw drops of sap! We can’t wait to make maple syrup!
