We read ‘A Day at the Sugar Bush’. We talked about how important trees are again as they provide food. We talked about how sap is taken from the tree, boiled, and made into maple syrup – the process is explained in the book with real life pictures. We talked about our local sugar bush and what a trip there looks like.
