Landmark 14 (Five New Outdoor Activities)

We went on a field trip to Sandy Flats Sugar Bush and learned about the process of making maple syrup! We learned about the history of making maple syrup, and the techniques used by Indigenous peoples and settlers. We also learned about the different types of maple syrup (the darker the syrup, the later in the season the sap was harvested, and the stronger the maple flavour!). We also went on a wagon ride, and a hike to enjoy the woods 🙂
