Landmark 13 (Travel a Familiar Route)

The air rang with the songs of killdeers, robbins, and the familiar call of a rooster in the distance. Thomas and Blake wasted no time enjoying the beautiful feeling of dirt between their fingers-soon our toes will enjoy this sensation too! Our eyes are open for the first colors-yellow dandelions and purple crocus’. What a delight to run down the trail without all that extra gear! We stopped at the ice cream shop beside the climbing tree, of course.
