Landmark 2 (Animal Friends Monthly)

We participated in watching a virtual animal care session of three crested geckos at the Peterborough Zoo. The children got to watch as the geckos were weighed, fed and their enclosure monitored for temperature and moisture. There were lots of interesting facts shared and we were able to have a close-up look and learning opportunity with the zookeepers. After the session, we found some play lizards and geckos and created our own pretend play habitat with plants, logs and food.
