Explore Natural Clay

Landmark 8 (Nature Art Weekly)

On our forest trip, we decided to explore natural clay and create something using natural materials and clay. The children all created something different and we absolutely loved their creations. A couple of children even used sticks to carve faces into their clay.

We also asked the children to draw their favourite thing about the forest. A couple of children drew trees, a fallen tree, and the pond, themselves climbing trees and the teeter-totter log. Harvey and Reid drew themselves sitting on the log in the forest and even eating their snacks.
