Start a Worm Garden

Landmark 15 (Garden, birdfeeder, insects etc.)

We started a worm garden. We added soil, sand, grass, old leaves and water. The kids went out on a hunt for worms! We created a natural space to observe the worms. We also talked about compost and gave the worms our extra compostable scraps. It has been fun watching them tunnel and move along! It has also been fun problem solving adding to our original plan.
